Why isn’t this on the Play Store?
It is an internal beta. Distributing directly means testers get new builds the moment they are ready, with no review queue in between.
Android warns me the file might be harmful. Is that normal?
Yes. Android shows that for any APK installed outside the Play Store, regardless of what it contains. Allow the install for your browser and continue.
I already have an older beta installed.
Uninstall it first. The app id changed to com.jetsynthesys.sling.tv, so this build installs alongside the old one instead of replacing it.
Is there an iPhone build?
Not yet — Android only during this phase of the beta.
Does it cost anything?
No. Everything in the catalogue is free to watch throughout the beta.
